H.M.S Ark Royal to be commissioned. Four Officers from her Pre-Decessor. Britain's newest aircraft Carrier - H.M.S. Ark Royal - built at a cost of 25,000,000 is to be commissioned tomorrow. She has all the latest devices including angle-deck;mirror sights -steam catapaults etc. has an up to date bakery and operating theater. Photo shows. Four members of the Old 'Ark Royal' which was sunk in the Mediterranean in 1945 seen aboard their new vessel at Burkenhead today. They are L-R: Lieut. commander R.W. Keresiey: Commander M.F. Fell; Captain D.R. Campbell and Lieut. Commander Wooletan.
