1962 Press Photo Linda Estall-Cole Model Introduces Golden Bed Furniture Show

Introducing The "Golden Bed" Valued At ~3,000: Model Linda Estall-Cole seen as she demonstrated what has been termed as the "Richest - ratest and raciest "bad yes at the preview this morning of the 1962 Furniture Show - which opens on Jan 31st. at Earls Court, London. It is all gold - the real 22 cara stuff - and presented the largest job of its king ever undertaken by the firm who gold plated it. From the gold corons over the bed - rich gold damask glints through the white chiffon drapes. The mattress has 1,240 individually pocketed springs - covered with Italian brocade - specially woven with miles and miles of gold thread. The Bed is valued at ~3,000.
