Description
Some unusual type of cigarette cards in Colonel Bagnall's collection - "Butterfly blankets' were issued in the U.S.A. between 1900 and 1910 in several hundred varieties. Their object was to induce women to smoke! Below are samples of Godfrey Phillips woven rugs. Other novelties displayed are miniature gramophones records, two inches diameter, medals, and badges, charms and bronze plaques.
