29-5-54 Monken Hadley Fair opened - The Olde Village Fair of Monken Hadley, was opened today at Hadley Highstone (just beyond Barnet on the Gr. North Road), by Miss Helen Charry, the stage, film and radio star. Keystone Photo Shows: 16-year old Susan Pardoe, very picturesquely dress as she sold gingerbread at the Fair today.
