Description
An orchestra plays up a mountain: Twenty-eighth young musicians, average age 14, played the National Anthems of Britain, America and Russia 4.400 ft, up Ben Nevis. This was no teen-age rave of gimmick. It was a tribute to men who died in a war that ended before mot of them were born. The musicians belong to the Dudley, Worcestershire Youth Orchestra. There is a 25-year-old link between their home town and Fort William. Photo shows Amidst magnificent scenery and atrocious rain a member carries a cello over the Red Burn on its way to the Summit.

Photo measures 8 x 10 inches.

Photo is dated 8-23-1962.
