Caenarvon gets a foretaste of the Investiture: Caernarvon put out the flags and moves into top-gear festival array yesterday when crowds streamed in to see the Duke of Norfolk and Lord Snowdown, organising final details for next Tuesday's investiture of the Prince of Wales. More than 3,000 people turned out oat 5 am to watch a rehearsal of the ceremony. Photo shows the Duke of Norfolk, the Earl Marshal, stading beside the Queen's throne in Welsch slate on the dias in the grounds of Caenarvon Castle during yesterday's rehearsal.
