'Florence Nightingale'' prepares for searchlight tattoo walks in the West End.: Captain Joan Moriarty (31) of St. Lawrence, Somerset who takes on the role of Florence Nigtingale in the forthcoming Searchlight Tattoo at White City was to be seen this morning trying on her costume. Captain Moriarty is a member of the Queen Alexandraes Royal Army Nursing Corps and is stationed at Hindhead. Photo shows Captain Moriarty creates a minor sensation as she walks through the West End wearing the Florence Nightingale Costume this morning.
