Sudan President Jaafar Numeiry is ousted in Coup: Heavy fighting involving troops using tanks, artillery and machine guns is reposted to be raging in Khartoum today in the wake of a pre-dawn coup against Sudan President Jaafar Numeiry. The where abourts of the 46 year old President are not known. Photo shows Sudan President Jaafar Numeiri who has been ousted in the coup.
