Annemarie Renger - The First Woman At The Summit of The German Parliament For the first time in the history of the German Parliament a woman has the office of Parliamentary President. During the 7th Parliament, which was constituted on the 13th Dec., the 53 year old social democrat Annemarie Renger was voted President of the German Bundestag. She is at the moment the only woman in the world to hold such position. Ops:- Parliament President Annemarie Renger with her predecessor, Kai Uwe von Hassel.
