July 17th, 1976 Monty's wartime caravan for museum - Viscount David Montgomery, son of Field Marshal Viscount Montgomery, watching his father's wartime caravan home set out yesterday from his home in Isington Mill, near Alton, Hants, on a journey which will take it to the Imperial War Museum. The caravan and the two others which together formed his mobile H.Q. were transported to Aldershot, where they will be restored before going to the museum later in the year.
