MONTY OF THE FLYING SlUAD BECOMES JIM NARDIE OF FARGO' Ex-Detective Inspeotor LEONARD 'MONTY' MOUNTFORD of Sootland Yard's Flying Squad, has taken on a new job in security at AMERICAN EXPRESS, the firm founded by Wells Fargo 113 years ago. In the TV 'Wells Fargo' Programme, the oharaoter Jim Hardie is in charge of security in the Wild West. Unlike Jim Hardie, MR. MOUNTFORD doesn't carry a gun, but he is a keen marksman and horseman and has also built up a collection of about 300 antique firearms including pistols owned by Goering, Captain Cook, Clive of India, Talleyrand, and a Shortie of Dallas.
