1955 Press Photo M. Antoine Pinay new cabinet France Premiership crisis

Bespectacled and Looking Grave was M. Antoine Pinay as he announced to the members of the party that he has accepted to form the new cabinet last night. M. Pinay who owns a large tannery at Saint Chamond, Eastern France, already held Premiership after one of the previous cabinet crisis. He was first elected as deputy of his district in 1936. During his first Premiership he mainly concentrated on social and interior affairs.
