ANGLO.EGYPTIAN PACT ON THE SUDAN SIGNED IN CAIRO. GENERAL NEGUIB ATTENDS MEETING: An agreement between Britain and Egypt granting self-government to the Sudan and providing for self-determination of its future within three years was signed in Cairo yesterday. Preparations for elections to form a Sudanese Parliament will be set in brand at once and will take place at end of March or beginning of April - and a Sudanese Parliament and Government should be in existence by the end of April.. Photo shows The British and Egyptian delegates during the meeting which led to the agreement in Cairo. General Neguib is seen in center.
