Premier Tanaka Reviews Japan's Self Defense Forces.
Premier Kakuei Tanaka, wearing a large chrysanthemum in his coat lapel, reviews 4,600 men and women members of Japan's Self Defense Forces as he in driven past the formation in the Outer Gardens of Meiji Shrine, Tokyo to commemorate the 22nd anniversary of their foundation. Meanwhile the Governor of Tokyo, Ryokichi Minobe said that he will not permit the military parade in the gardens next year.
