Senator Chief Mangwende appointed a Minister of Development in Rhodesia - Senator Chief Mangwende, one of the new Rhodesian Black Ministers recently sworn in, has now been appointed one of the Ministers of Development in Rhodesia, made his first public appearance when he inspected the passing-out parade of 73 new District Assistance at the Chikurubi Training Centre near Salibury. Following the inspection he addressed the men in English and Shona, telling them that they faced the important task of gaining the support among those whom they would be working.
