Description
Housewife Helps Police in Nude Murder Hunt. A housewife set up on a shopping expedition - and ended up helping the police in a murder hunt. The helpful housewife yesterday posed as the sixth victim of the West London killer as cameras clicked in the yard of Shepherd's Bush Police station, the murder hunt headquarters. Murder squad men had spotted her in a busy street and noted in build, shape, hair colour and facial characteristics, she closely resembles 27 year old Mrs. Bridie O'Hara, whose nude body was dumped at Acton. She agreed to be photographed with her face partly masked, wearing clothes identical to those worn by Mrs. O'Hara when she was last seen alive. Afterwards a picture of the murdered woman's face was superimposed and shown to people in pubs and clubs throughout West London in the hope that someone had seen the murdered woman on or since January 11th - the night she disappeared. Photo Shows: The housewife - her face concealed by a mask poses for pictures wearing clothes identical to those worn by the murdered woman.

Photo measures 8 x 10.25 inches.

Photo is dated 2-2-1965.
