Tested for the First Time... was now this new artificial "Loipe" in Hirschau. The langlauf track, installed in 0.8 millimeters in wood, has an ascent and descent. With this 250 meters long artificial "Loipe" the town Hirschau has beside its "Monte Kaolino" which makes possible skiing in summer, a further novelty in the German skiing sport which gives also long distance skiers the possibility to train also in summer. OPS: A special micture of paraffin and water is smeared on the course from time to time in order to make possible a better gliding of the long distance skiers.
