Royal victory in the Oaks. Queen's horse "Dunpermiline" wins. There was a right royal victory in the oak at Epsom today, when the queen's horse "Dunfermline" ridden by W. Carsen, won the race. "freeze the secret (G. Duttri) was second, and vaguely deb(B. Raymond) was third. The queen was not at Epsom see her horse win. Loter piggott was thrown from the favourite, Durtal, before the race and did not take part. photo shows Lester Piggott pictured in the unsaddling ensosure, after being brought back by ambulance after being thrown from the favorite Dutral before the race.
