August 25th 1976 Slimmer of the Year 1976 - The winner of the title Slimmer of the Year 1976 is 23-year-old Gail Ingham, a V.A.T. Civil Servant from Chester. The title was awarded by Slimming Magazine. Not long ago, Gail weighed almost 15 stone with figure measurements of 43-37-47, and now after strictly controlling the diet she now weighs 8 stone 12 lbs. with figure measurements of 36-26-36.
