"Olympic-Perchten" in Munich. Hair-raising but beautiful monsters called "Perchten" had come to attend the opening of an exhibition called "Olympic Games of gnomes" of 32 year old Munich painter and graphic artists Andreas Angerer between his guests. Centre of attraction are 12 Bavarian "Perchten" (not the big ones on the picture of course) figuring several Olympic competitions. During the Olympic Games the "Perchten" which visited the young artist will seven times perform their ritual "Perchten-Dance" at the "German Museum" in Munich. Note: "Perchten" are figures of a traditional folk-play which is performed once a yaer at the Salzburg-area.

Photo measures 6.5 x 8.75 inches.
