Banji-jumping in Switzerland. The Banji-jumping from high bridges, already popular in the United States, has become a new sport in Switzerland, since Swiss Banji-jumper Olivier Favre installed the first rubber rope in europe on the bridge over the river Doubs in Villiers Le-Lac near Neuenburg (western Switzerland) end of May. Our picture shows Olivier Favre jumping from 50 metres into the river.

Photo measures 7 x 9.5 inches.

Photo is dated 6-1-1991.
