1961 Press Photo Whipsnade Zoo Bear Cubs Looking Out Of Their Cave, With Mother

WHIPSNADE ZOO BEAR CUBS ON SHOW TO THE PUBLIC.. LOOKING OUT OF THEIR CAVE The Polar Bear Cubs - born on 3rd. December last to SONJA and NANOOK - were today tranferred to the Polar Bear Pit at Whispnade Zoo. They are both females - having been named AURORA and POLARIS - and are the first Polar Bear twins to be bred in this country. KEYSTONE PHOTO SHOWS:- The two babies look out of the cave - while Mother looks on - at Whipsnade Zoo this morning.
