That is very seldom: eight swan babies at one time Carefully watched by father and mother, the eight swan babies dared to go out on the River Alster (ALSTER) in Hamburg for the first time. - Usually, swans have four, sometimes five eggs. - Four of the young ones are completely white, the other four have a brownish colour.
