July 4th, 1973 Tennis at Wimbledon. Taylor beats Borg â Roger Taylor of Great Britain, yesterday beat the young Swedish player Bjorn Borg, at Wimbledon yesterday. Photo Shows: Bjorn Borg appealing to Mr. Alf Fulston, a lineman, to call Roger Taylorâs matchpoint service out of court. After the umpire had called âœGame, set and matchâ, Taylor indicated that his service had been out and a let was played.
