1965 Press Photo Goldie Golden Eagle London Zoo Captured After Escape Regent's

Goldie is recaptured after nearly five days of freedom: Goldie, the London Zoo's golden eagle, who escaped from his cage nearly five days ago, was recaptured in Regent's Park today. This was his second bid for freedom this year the first attempt was in March. Photo shows back once again in captivity Goldie (right) settles down with his mate Regina in hi cage at the London Zoo today.
