1975 Press Photo Geoffrey Cope RSPCA Handles Oil Covered Razorbill Kent

Oil Hits Kent Beaches: Workmen were hard at work yesterday trying to clear the beach at Folkestone, Kent, of oil from the tanker Olympic Alliance, which earlier this week was involved in a mid-channel collision with a Navy frigate. Photo Shows: An oil covered razorbill being cared for by Mr. Geoffrey Cope of the RSPCA. The bird had to be destroyed.
