Description
December 16th, 1970 Trying to solve a space problem - The parents of baby Sarah Lachat live in a very expensive but small apartment in Geneva. And with limited space available, Sarah's father, Marcel Lachat had an idea for enlargement. He built and egg-shaped 'bubble' of polyester material, weighing 660 lbs and had it fixed, following a 'certificate of safety' from experts, to the front window of his second-storey flat, and his wife made it into a baby room for little Sarah. But, there was a snag. Police Superintendent Jacques Bory said that it would have to be removed. Photo Shows: The interior of the 'igloo' which Marcel Lachat had fixed to the front of his second-story flat in Geneva.
