Oberammergau Prepares For 1980. This week villagers of Oberammergau will chose who will play Jesus Christ and other important parts in next years 'Passion Play'. The men have already been growing their beards and letting their hair grow long. Photo Shows:- Director of the festival committee and woodcarver, Hans Maier with the crucifix, which plays a important role in the vow-scene.
