6-1-67 World premiere of ''A Countess from Hong Kong'' ' The world premiere of the film ''A Countess From Hong Kong'', which was written and directed by Charles Chaplin, took place last night at the Carlton Cinema, Haymarket. It was something of a Chaplin family occasion. Four Rolls Royces took Mr. Chaplin, his wife, Oona, and seven of their children to the Carlton for the premiere, which was attended by Princess Alexandra. Photo Shows: Mrs. Oona Chaplin, arriving for the premiere with two daughters, Jane, 11 and Annette, 6.
