The Traditional New Year's Reception Which the President of the Federal Republic of Germany Dr. Heinemann gave in Bonn was rather unconventional this year. Fro the first time the strict protocol was broken and beside diplomates also citizens from all the social strats were invited, among others an invalid, an apprentice tool maker, and a Turkish aluminium welder.
