Egyptian Ex-Premier Sentenced To Death For "Treasor" and is Reprieved By General Neguib - Death Sentences Passed by General Neguib's Revolutionary Tribunel On Ex-Premier Abdel Hadi and Mohamed Awar a former Employee of the British forces in the Canel Zone, have been in the case of Award..Both Hadi and Awad were sentenced on charges of treason after secret trials at which no defence coundel were present. The Reprieves came on the eve of a meeting called for today by Egypt's 7,000 strong lawyers' syndicate to consider protesting against the methods of Neguib's Revolutionary Tribunal.
