Wife of New Royal Academy President Completes New Triptych For Capetown Cathedral, Mrs. Charles Wheeler, Wife of the New Royal Acadamy President is completing a 3 ft. high triptych for Capetown's new cathedral. It is a memorial to King George VI and is to form the Cantrepiece of a carves screen in the South Transept. The Center panel shows a Madonna and Child, On the Right hand panel is an angel and the left is of King David playing a Harp. Mrs. Wheeler as the only R.A. President's wife to be a professional painter and sculptor. Mr. Charles Wheeler President of the Royal Academy - with his own figure of his wife, and Mrs. Wheeler's newly painted Triptych at the studio in London.
