Ernest Marples the Minister of Transport tried his hand yesterday on a ''Go Kart'' after opening a fete at Woodland's Park, Gravesend. He drove very steadily and the two ''Windmill Girls'' who 'raced' against him bumped him occasionally to keep him going.
