1971 Press Photo Foundation of the "German Union"

Foundation of the "German Union"; recently a new party was founded in Disseldorf (Germany). The "German Union" which calls itself "patriotic center" and which consists almost only of former FD members (Free Democrats) intends to "collect the liberal national forces of the German people" and to stand up for a "future constructive policy". Former FDP member Siegfried Zoglmann who gave rise to comment last year by the formation of the "National Liberal Action" was elected as Chairman.
