The election campaign for the Federal Diet elections have been started in Munich on 13th June by the CSU (Christian Social Democratics) Party Meeting. Franz Josef Strauss, Federal Chancellor of the Exchequer and Party chairman has been opening the meeting, to which more than 600 delegates and about 1500 guests have been arrived at the Bavarian capital. During the CSU congress the delegates will be discussing problems of currency and finanace, science, economy, social safety, as well as foreign and safety politics. On the second day the Bavarian Prime Minister Alfons, CSU chairman Strauss, and Federal Chancellor Kiesinger as expected as speakers. The party meeting will end with 14th June. CSU Party Conference in Munich The Party Conference of the Bavarian CSU (Christian Deomocratic Union) took place on 3rd and 4th November 1972 in Munich.
