The starting signal for the Germany Flight 1969 has been given by the German Chancellor of the Exchequer, Franz Josef Strauss, who - a sports pilot himself came from Bonn to Augsburg in an aeroplane. 144 entries have been made - a prove of the big interest in this performance and skill flight. The take-off has been Augsburg-Muhlhausen (18th June), target will be Flensburg (Neorthern Germany). Photo shows tough fists are necessary to set the propeller into operation. Franz Josef Strauss, German Chancellor of the Exchequer, has got them.
