Andrew Newton says he was hired to kill Norman Scott.: Andrew Newton, 30, who was released from prison early this year after serving two years for shooting Norman Scott's dog Rinka, and for threatening the life of Scott, has stated that a leading Liberal supporter had arranged a 5,000 ''contract'' for him to kill Scott. Now the Director of Public Prosecution, Mr. Tony Hetherington, has called for a fresh inquiry into the case. Photo shows former Liberal MP Mr. Peter Bessell, now in America, who at one time was paying Norman Scott money as he was destitute at the time.

Photo measures 8 x 10 inches.

Photo is dated 10-10-1977.
