Ambassador's Son Does the Chores at Gretna Green. Don Fernando Luis Logardi, the 20 year old son of the Mexican Ambassador to Bolivia - is doing the kitchen chores at Gretna Green. He eloped there from Paris with 22 year old Lilliana Belardi, daughter of a wealthy Venice oil merchant. They pay 10s 9d. a week Each at the Greenlaw guest house where they are spending three weeks to qualify for Gretna Wedding. In return they lend a hand clearing the table, bringing in coal - and they make their beds. Fernando said last night" "We are not runaways. We have our parents' blessing. We came to Gretna because the romantic idea appealed to us". Both are students. We want to marry quickly. We did not want to fuss of a big wedding in Paris". Says Don Fernando. Photo Shows: Young lovers at Gretna Green who are prepared to wait three weeks. Fernando Luis Logardi, 20 year old son of the Mexican Ambassador to Bolivia, and Lilliana Belardi, who made the dash to Gretna Green from Paris.
