A Fairy Tale Start To The New Year For Dancer Vivien: Celebrating a magical start to the New Year - Vivien Loeber last night shot to stardom from the rank of the corps de ballet at the Royal Festival in London. Vivien came forward from the wings to play the Sugar Plum Fairy in the "Nutcracker" after soloist Noleen Nichol sprained her ankle 20 minutes from the end. 23 years old Vivien had never danced the role before but was given a roaring ovation from the Royal Festival Hall audience. Photo shows Vivien Loeber pictured in her dressing as she makes up for the matinee performance at the Royal Festival Hall today - she is now back in the corps de ballet.
