Mr. Macmillan asks for ?750,000 for the Oxford Union Appeal: An appeal for the Oxford Union was launched in London today by Mr. Harold Macmillan, Chancellor of the University and Principal trustee of the Oxford Li~erary and debating Union Trust, whose purpose is to preserve the Oxford Union. The appeal is necessary because of the poor financial state of the Union. Photo shows Mr. Harold Macmillan Launching the appeal at today's press conference at Brown's hotel, Dover street,London.
