Open Tennis for Britain. Decision at Annual General meeting of L. T. A.: There will be open tennis for Britain from April 22. The Annual General meeting of the Lawn Tennis Association agreed by an overwhelming majority to abolish amateur - professional distinction. The first open meeting will be at Bournemouth starting April 24. Photo shows Mr. Derek Penman, O. B. E. ,T. D. Chairman of the L. T.
