Open Tennis for Britain. Decision at Annual General meeting of L. T. A.: There will be open tennis for Britain from April 22. The Annual General meeting of the Lawn Tennis Association agreed by an overwhelming majority to abolish amateur - professional distinction. The first open meeting will be at Bournemouth starting April 24. Photo shows Mr. Derek Penman, O. B. E. ,T. D. Chairman of the L. T. A. rules committee, at today's meeting at the Queen's Club, London.
