The Earl of Snowdon takes up his seat in the House of Lords.: The Earl of Snowdon, Princess Margaret's husband, this afternoon took up his seat in the House of Lords. During a ceremony he took the oath of allegiance to the Queen and then signed the roll before being conducted to his seat. Photo shows a composite of how Lord Snowdown appeared when, dressed in the traditional robes, he took up his seat in the House of Lords this afternoon.
