Swiss diplomat for personal representative of U Thant: On the demand of the general secretary of the United Nations the Swiss federal council sent M. Ernesto Thalmann, diplomat in the Political Department of Berne, to Jerusalem, where he has to elaborate a report on the actual situation there on behalf of M.U.Thant, who has to present this report to the Security Council of the U.N.
