The Two year old genius.: Little two-year old Maybelle Thompson is causing quite a problem, for she can read books and news papers, write correctly, and spell 400 words. Her parents, 56-year-old American James Thompson who writes schoold science books and his thirty nine year old Chines born wife Margaret, who live in Reading, asked the local education authorities if she could start school at the age of three, as she is so far advanced, instead of the customary age of four years and nine months. But the education authorities have decided that they cannot relax the regulations, even in this case, so Maybelle will just have to carry on with her reading and writing on her own.
