India Republic Day Celebrations At India House: The High Commissioner for India held a reception last night at India House in celebration of the sixth anniversary of India's Republic Day. Among those present were members of the Diplomatic Corps, the Lord and Lady Mayoress and members of both Houses of Parliament. Photo shows Standing beneath the Union Jack, Mrs. Pandit receives Mr. Malik the Russian Ambassador and his wife.
