General Assembly begins special session of Raw Materials and development: The General Assembly this afternoon opened its sixth special session, which was called, at the request of Algeria, to study the problems of raw materials and development. Leopoldo Benites ( Exuador), President of the twenty eight regular session of the Assembly, was elected by acclamation as President of the special session, and an Ad Hoe Committee was established.
