Hamburg/West Germany, Pronouncing of Judgement in First Sexism trial; For the first time in West Germany; there took place a so called "sexism-trial". In Hamburg ten will known German and Australian women (actresses, journalists, film directors and writers) went to law against the "Stern". They reproached the magazine to have published too sexy cover girls and by this the impression is given to the men, that women are only a sex object. Now, the judges didn't agree with this opinion of the ladies - and gave dismissal of this action. The costs of the proceedings must be paid by the women, who will lodge an appeal against this judgement. Photo Shows Henry Nannen, chief editor of "Stern" magazine, and Inge Meysel, well known German actress (one of the plaintiffs), in the Hamburg court.
