Krishna Menon, a non-party candidates contesting the Indian election as an Independent from the North (East) Bombay, paid a pre-election visit to his strong held area (Chambur a suburb of Vombay). He is pictured here when he visitied the hutment colony (Janatha-people's colony), where hundreds of his supporters welcomed him, shouting election slogans such as "A vote for Menon is a vote for Nahru"
