1964 Press Photo Relay 2 satellite aboard Delta rocket to test new components

CAPE KENNEDY, FLA., Jan. 21 -- RELAY 2 SATELLITE LAUNCHED -- This three-stage Delta rocket blasts away from its launch pad here today, carrying Relay 2 satellite whose major purpose is to test new electronic components designed to operate for several years despite radiation and other space hazards.
