Description

The New York Hilton, a 46 story hotel on the Avenue of the Americas between 53rd and 54th streets will open to the public Saturday. The $60 Million dollar building is at right. At left is the Americana Hotel. The hotels were built close to each other so they could book conventions jointly. Under construction in left foreground is a 45- story office building as yet unnamed.
